The Coleson Strong Foundation's mission is to provide BOLD, overwhelming prayer and financial support to children, and their families that have been diagnosed with Cardio Myopathy that are inpatient at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh.

On this day our healthy, thriving, growing 10 week old went into heart failure. A mother's intuition led us to the pediatric office and then to the local emergency room. From there we were transferred to Hershey Medical Center where Coleson spent 9 days before being life flighted to Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. This is where the fight of his life unfolded.

Bold Prayers are what carried our family through this journey. We had prayer warriors near and far. Many we have never and will never meet. The power behind prayer is beyond human comprehension. The Lord heard all the bold prayers that were happening on our precious baby's behalf and he chose to answer in miraculous ways.

Many families of Cardio Myopathy patients don't have a countdown to the finish line. Many, especially at Children's of Pittsburgh are not local, trying daily to figure out a new normal, not to mention paying for various bills (big or small). Why We are Here...
During our time at Children's Hospital, it was COVID 2020. Ronald McDonald House was not allowing anyone except parents to stay. We were 150 miles from our hometown with our older son Landon. Thankfully we found an Air BnB close to the hospital. Landon and Coleson's grandmother (Gaga) decided to stop working and come support us. She was able to watch Landon daily while we were at the hospital. Our close friends started a GoFundMe Account and funds came pouring in, more than we could ever dreamed of. What a blessing! We were able to use these funds to pay for the Air BnB, buy groceries, pay for bills back home, make sure Gaga could pay her bills without working, and pay it forward to others in need. Besides the prayers flooding the Lord every minute of every day, this gift allowed us to focus on what was important, being with Coleson every day. The Coleson Strong Foundation is our way of saying thank you from the bottom of our hearts, and now providing the same gift to families in the same unique situation.
